About Dr. Stephen Riady
Dr. Stephen Riady is the Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of OUE Limited, a diversified real estate and healthcare services group listed on the Singapore Exchange.
Dr. Riady has made numerous contributions in the field of public service. He serves on the Global Board of Trustees of the Asia Society and is a Patron of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore. Dr Riady is also a Council Member of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and a Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship.
In recognition of his achievements in business and entrepreneurship, Dr. Riady received the Ernst & Young (EY) ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award and EY Strategic Investment Entrepreneur of the Year. Dr Riady is also a recipient of the Chevalier de L’Ordre des Arts des Lettres (Order of France) by the French Government.
In 2023, Dr. Riady was presented the Asia Game Changer Award by Asia Society for his longstanding commitment to uplift the lives of rural communities in Papua, Indonesia. Dr. Riady is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a master’s degree in in Business Administration from Golden Gate University, United States of America. He was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom and is one of the first Honorary Fellows installed by Hong Kong Baptist University.
