About Us

The Stephen Riady Group of Foundations is a philanthropic platform set up in collaboration with Credit Suisse Private Banking. Launched at the Credit Suisse Philanthropists Forum on 16 November 2012, the Stephen Riady Group of Foundations consist of seven foundations in Singapore and Hong Kong, out of which one personal foundation and three corporate foundations in Singapore are set up under Credit Suisse's SymAsia Foundation Ltd.

The Stephen Riady Group of Foundations are dedicated to improving the lives of the underprivileged, disadvantaged and impoverished communities through Education, Empowerment and Engagement. Guided by the personal philosophy of Dr Stephen Riady, Executive Chairman of Singapore listed property owner and developer OUE Limited, we believe that people’s lives can only be improved through education, acquiring knowledge and life skills which empower them to earn a living and engage others in the community to serve and give back to those around them. We believe that every human being should have the opportunity to develop their talent to the fullest potential regardless of their age, gender, socio-economic or ethnic background.

Since its inception, the Stephen Riady Group of Foundations have donated generously to worthy causes in Hong Kong and Singapore and hopes to inspire future generations to keep giving. The key causes supported are in the areas of education (trainee programs, scholarships and social entrepreneurship), humanitarian and social development (in Singapore, through the Community Chest, Singapore Business Federation Foundation, Focus on the Family and more).
